+ Who are my copywriting services for?
If you are a natural & organic beauty or health & wellness shop or website, I’m your gal. Read more on my history and experience. I also write for beauty and wellness blogs.
+ Do I have to know what type of copy I need?
Not at all. Sometimes you simply need another set of eyes to review your site. Believe me, I’m a solopreneur and totally understand. I’d be happy to take a look at your site or blog and let you know what types of copy I feel would enhance customer experience and make you feel proud of your brand.
+ How do we get started?
You get in touch with me and I will be back with you within 24 hours to get the convo rolling. We’ll discuss (via email or phone, whichever you prefer) your wants and needs, talk about your brand, and see if we are a good fit for each other. If so, we will continue the conversation with pricing details, timeline, and steps of the project.
+ How much do I charge for copywriting?
As you can imagine, every client project is different. All of my clients get absolutely fresh, custom, original content that aligns with their brand, voice, and overall site feel. Once we set the details of the kind of copy you are looking for, I can give you a better idea of price. The initial phase of the process is pretty quick and easy, so no harm in checking it out to see if it works for you. And you can always have me do a free discovery session.
+ How much do I charge for blogging?
My going rate for an average sized post (around 500-600 words) that doesn’t require tons of research is $100. Longer posts, guides, and pages will be more.
+ Am I familiar with FTC regulations?
Yep! I don’t want my clients getting into any hot water over claims that don’t meet FTC regulations and totally have your back on this.
+ Do I pitch story ideas to bloggers?
Sure! This is something I do on a regular basis and one of the favorite aspects of my job.
+ Do I have a waiting list?
This varies. While I can usually get a smaller project turned around within a couple of weeks, if you need something ASAP check with me and we’ll see what we can do. As for blog posts, I require a one week turn around time.
+ How do I accept payment?
We can do either Paypal or a good ol’ paper check.
+ Do I accept product submissions?
Trying out new products is an important part of my job and I do accept select product submissions. That said, I am one person and can’t adequately try out too many products at one time. This means I usually accept samples that fit in with my editorial calendar. But feel free to pitch your products to me. Even if they don’t fit right now, they may down the road. And I never accept payment for writing about a product, brand, or store.
+ Do I accept sponsored posts or guest posts?
Sorry, not at this time.
+ Do I use affiliate links?
Sometimes. It’s one of the ways I support my business. The two things you need to know about that … I only recommend products I 100% believe in and only support shops I care about.
